On March 17, 2025, the New York Knicks were playing the Miami Heat at Madison Square Garden. During the game, comic Tracy Morgan had a medical issue that stopped the game for a short time. People who saw Morgan, 56, said he looked sick; some said he had vomited and a bloody nose. Pictures of him being helped by medical staff and then taken away in a wheelchair with a towel over his face were shared online.

There was a wait of over ten minutes while staff took care of Tracy Morgan and cleaned up the area around his courtside seat. The event happened with 6:09 left in the third quarter. A Madison Square Garden representative said they hoped Tracy Morgan would get better quickly and were looking forward to his return. The comedian’s representatives have not yet said anything about the situation.
