What’s Open and Closed on MLK Day 2025
Nonessential government operations including the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV), libraries, and city offices—as a federal holiday—will be closed. Though ATMs and Internet banking will still be available, the U.S. Postal Service will not deliver mail and major banks including Wells Fargo, Citibank, and TD Bank will be closed. Target, Walmart, and Kroger will be open; retailers need to figure out local store hours nevertheless.
