At the age of 51, eminent jewelry designer Lynn Ban—star of Netflix’s “Bling Empire: New York”—passed died on January 20, 2025. Her death happened several weeks after Christmas Eve emergency brain surgery after a skiing accident in Aspen, Colorado.
Skiing Accident and Emergency Surgery
Lynn Ban fell face-first in a skiing accident on December 24, 2024, while on vacation with her family in Aspen. Ski patrol first evaluated her and found them free of any major injuries. However, after getting a headache, a paramedic advised her to go to a hospital for a more thorough assessment. Doctors found a brain bleed at the hospital that called for an emergency craniotomy. Ban posted her experience on Instagram thanking her family for their support and her recovery.
