The Los Angeles Lakers chose the eldest son, Lonzo Ball, as their second overall choice in the 2017 NBA Draft. Following time with the Chicago Bulls and the New Orleans Pelicans, Lonzo struggled greatly with knee problems and was sidelined over two seasons. Resilient, he went back to the court in October 2024 and, by February 2025, the Bulls had a two-year, $20 million contract extension signed.
