After three years of marriage, Quinta Brunson, the acclaimed creator and star of ā€œAbbott Elementary,ā€ has filed for divorce from her husband, Kevin Jay Anik. The couple, who wed in October 2021, cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for their separation. Court papers sent to Los Angeles Superior Court on March 19, 2025, say that the date of the split has not yet been set.

The documents also show that Quinta Brunson and Jay Anik signed a postnuptial agreement that spells out how their property will be split. Quinta Brunson wants each side to pay their lawyer fees. They donā€™t have any children together. They didnā€™t talk about their personal lives while they were dating. When Quinta Brunson won the 2022 Emmy, she called Anik her husband, and thanked him for his support.
