Gastritis is a sudden or gradual erosion of the stomach lining. It can be caused by excessive alcohol abuse, constant purging, stress, or the use of certain medications or anti-inflammatory drugs or H. Pylori infection.

GERD is a digestive disorder that affects the lower sphincter oesophageal lining. It can lead to symptoms like heartburn or acid indigestion.

  • Also avoiding/ restricting the intake of the following foods help in lowering the symptoms drastically.
  • Caffeinated Beverages like tea, coffee, green tea etc
  • Alcohol or carbonated drinks
  • Fruit juices due to its high sugar and low fibre content
  • Spicy, fried or fatty foods
